Springs

There are three major reasons springs are replaced:

1. To Lower the Vehicle
   When lowering a vehicle it must be remembered that the vehicle will be closer to:
   i.    the road
   ii.   the tyres
   iii.  the suspension bump stops
   For these reasons, performance replacement springs should be fitted. 

2. To Maintain or Return Vehicle to Standard Height
   Most common when original springs have sagged or previously fitted lowered springs are no longer required. 

3. To Raise Vehicle
   Common in Four Wheel Drive vehicles, heavily laden vehicles, LPG etc., towing or when ever increased ground clearance is required.

2. HANDLING

When improvement in handling is required, performance replacement springs will substantially reduce body roll and improve a vehicle's stability.

Performance lowered springs will also lower a vehicle's centre of gravity.

3. HEAVY LOADING

All vehicles are manufactured to a general acceptable standard and springs are no exception to this rule. With demands for comfort a growing priority, springs rates are kept as low as possible. For this reason, the original spring's ability to carry load and tow etc. is in most cases, poor.

Performance replacement springs will decrease the vehicle's ride height loss under load and improve vehicle stability when laden.

TEIN S.Tech Springs are an excellent step towards suspension tuning. They offer approximately a 30mm drop for a more aggressive appearance and increased road holding capability. Designed to be used with OEM or OEM replacement shocks. Each application is road tested for the proper balance between performance and comfort.

Car Coils

Please note: The following height classifications are a generalization only. Degree of lowering can vary between part numbers and vehicles. 

NOTE: Super Low coils are generally 40-50mm below standard.

4WD & Ford  "F" Series Coils

EFS Multi Leaf Springs are made from high quality Japanese grade SUP9 & SUP9A Alloyed Carbon spring steel. Designed as a comfort Leaf Spring that incorporates special features , to give the driver a comfortable ride on road & increased control off road with increased articulation & clearance. Available in 30mm to 80mm raised heights with a slight increase in spring rates over the original equiptment.

• Tapered Leaf Ends - To reduce the inter-leaf friction & to improve pressure distribution in the bearing area.
